THREE POINT TURN THURSDAY!
Today’s post showcased Boba Fett-ish undies that I NEED for my next running race: a leg of the 136-mile Olympic-style torch run to Comic-Con International (I’ve never been and only hope to attend once so why not?!). The evening quickly fell to the Dark Side while rushing my kids to overlapping baseball/softball practices. I tried…
DOES YOUR CHILDHOOD WHIMSY PREDICT YOUR FUTURE PATH?
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be a butterfly! I continuously search beyond the obvious symbolism in the complete transformation from the worm – [CUE: Heimlich’s voice] – into a beautiful butterfly! Once the Mariah Carey song “Butterfly” starts playing in my head, I lose…
BLOGGING IS…
I’ve wandered for 144 days now, and am still amused – regularly coming across refreshing new blogs. I wanted to share my observations as to everything that I’ve discovered blogging is to me. Please, wander with me for a bit, I’d love to learn about the gems you’ve found along the way too! Blogging is……
YOU WENT WHERE? DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES (WITH KIDS)
Though I’ve lived in Los Angeles for about 20 years, I still don’t consider myself local. I even lived downtown in 1992 – but back then, people escaped the city when work ended. To my kids, it’s the smoggy spot where their uncle works and home to modern miracles like LA Live or the…
COME IN, I’LL THROW SOMETHING TOGETHER
When you’re working on an idea that you’re not ready to share with everyone, does it put up walls preventing other creativity? Maybe that’s just me. So sorry I’ve been absent and thank you for still being here! To make it up to you, I made you a cake! I’ve been praying for a potluck…
GRATITUDE SUNDAY – CATCH UP!
Whenever I get days off from work, I take care of neglected things – and as you’ve seen, blogging made the list longer. With me having three days off before rolling into the kids’ Spring Break, I couldn’t wait to get caught up. KIDS’ SCHOOL I immediately signed up to fulfill my parental duty working…

Thanks I think! Thanks for wandering by Frizztext!
Hehe his facial expression when getting that letter
The facial expression was just from mailing the letter. We actually never got a response, sadly – the letter got returned. Boo hoo. Thanks for wandering by!
His facial expression made me smile…my son does the same expression when he’s hoping for something. Just priceless moments!
Totally agree! Kids’ facial expressions are so awesome because they’re completely out of their control! I was trying to snap pictures of the kids with their sour spray candy this weekend, but was laughing too hard so they were blurry. Thanks for wandering by! Hope to see you again soon!
What a great expression! Thanks!
I thought so too! Thanks for wandering by!!
