I completely agree with her sentiment and after the fantastic weekend I had doing “anything I want” and realizing that a “great day” can be a matter of perception, I had a great day at work while everyone else had the day off! No lie!

I’m sitting here on the couch, looking out the window at a sky that’s turning that gorgeous shade of “Maxfield Parrish blue”, and wondering where the first day of February break has gone.

This whole week, my husband and daughter are home on school vacation. In fact, my mother-in-law is home from the rehab facility. She came home on Saturday, after spending almost two months in rehab due to her hip fracture.

How nice it is to have a full house again!

It’s been a busy day. I suppose I could say that about most days around here, particularly when I spend my time with a very busy five-year-old who doesn’t seem to have an “Off” button.

Today, however, was especially productive. I was able to rope my husband into  work with my husband on clearing out the upstairs sewing room. Although it’s been used as own personal mini-storage warehouse…
