WHO MOVED MY HOVERCHEESE?
Challenges, any changes, energize me. Call me Grace (under fire), I’m a sucker for deadlines – they’re part of my creative process. When sudden reorgs at work occur, I hunker down and work through tumultuous times. When baseball adds another 2 teams’ practices in one week, I rolled with it. Strengthsfinder 2.0 says I’m a…
RIGHT BACK TO THAT MORNING…
The morning began its usual routine. My baby slept while I showered, my wasband drove to work. When I got out of the shower, my phone was ringing. It was my friend Sharon and I chuckled that 6am was even early for her. I barely said “Hello” when she in her excitement asked “Did you…
TRADITIONALLY SPEAKING
How many favorite family traditions can you think of from the last third of the year? Then, turn the corner into the new year and the barren first months leave us in withdrawals. This year I’m eager to define a fun tradition for my family to implement this spring, in addition to our shamrock shake…
GEMS I STUMBLED UPON – O YOU!
Since none of my high school girlfriends, nor I, had the opportunity to fly to Chicago to see Oprah’s show before it ended, today my friends (that I’ve known for almost 25 years!) and I attended the next best thing! Oprah’s O You 2012 in Los Angeles! I learned many gems and will share them…
TITANIC OBSESSION
Call me weird, old, whatever, but I saw Titanic 3-D BEFORE The Hunger Games. My obsession started well before I met Rose DeWitt Bukater and Jack Dawson. The hunger for Titanic was insatiable! The fever started in fourth grade, as I dutifully worked through the SRA box. I found the tragic story of the Titanic…
WHEN LIFE HANDS YOU GRINDS, GROW MUSHROOMS, MAKE AN OMELETTE!
My header was so much better when I thought this brick on my counter was a poo log. All other mushroom growing kits I’ve seen involved animal poo and while the idea of it grosses me out, my inner-kindergardener prepared some fantastic jokes. Back to the Roots’ kit uses coffee grinds, mixed with oyster mushroom…

Thanks I think! Thanks for wandering by Frizztext!
Hehe his facial expression when getting that letter
The facial expression was just from mailing the letter. We actually never got a response, sadly – the letter got returned. Boo hoo. Thanks for wandering by!
His facial expression made me smile…my son does the same expression when he’s hoping for something. Just priceless moments!
Totally agree! Kids’ facial expressions are so awesome because they’re completely out of their control! I was trying to snap pictures of the kids with their sour spray candy this weekend, but was laughing too hard so they were blurry. Thanks for wandering by! Hope to see you again soon!
What a great expression! Thanks!
I thought so too! Thanks for wandering by!!
